Oh I'm so fickle. Last winter I declared my undying love for the spiffy red pickup that lives down the street. Alas, someone else has won my heart. I was leaving the Pepper Place Market last week and there was this great red hunk of burning love, all parked and ready for me to jump right in! Red convertible, white interior...... well that brought back some fond memories! So what's a girl to do?? SIGH!
Since we've gone right down Memory Lane, I offer this song by Mary MacGregor....."Torn Between Two Lovers"! here LOL!!!

I'm not showing this beuty to my son - he's after us to get a classic car & he'd love this. I can see how the pick btw the two would be though. I don't think it's forbidden to go after 2 red hunks.
Hey V -
the more the merrier.....does that work for you? Love the red - my first VERY OWN car after I was married was a '66 Mustang, red with a white vinyl top, red interior. What a beauty! Wish I still had it. Love your pics.
If I have a dangerous crush with a pink 1959 Ford Thunderbird and a red 1958 Corvette, yes I like this one too ;-)
Slick and sexy!
So all I need is a red car to win your heart?
Haha. I, too, am a sucker for red.
B2,
Uhhhhh, speaking French will do it too! LOL
V
a blog with a nice presence. i liked it.. :)
Ha! love the car and the comments.
As for Einstein, of course he's smart - he chose you!
Go for the convertible! :-)
No contest, go for the ragtop.
Not a doubt: the convertible...
Take the convertible Virg...it has a back seat...but of course you can get a mattress in the bed of the pickup - decisions, decisions!
xx,
M
They are both pretty spiffy! I can see why it was love at first sight...
It's a beauty!
Thank you for the congratulations on the 1st year, V.! :-)
I love the convertible, but I'll take mine in powder blue, s'il vous plait.
Hi again, V. I forgot to tell you I think all girls are/were fickle...I lost my true love a year later to a guy with a 1948 Merc that was all spiffed out!
Mar,
Oh I"m thinking way back to drive-in movies. Well that's some nice memories as well! :)
Jacob,
I've lost so many true loves, I can't count. C'est la vie!
Be still my heart!
aloha-

Very nice chrome on your new beau! Do you remember the Hertz ads. . ."let Hertz put you in the driver's seat. . ." and a driver would descend into a moving convertible? Well, I'm imagining you in that ad with this car. . .one of your scarves floating on the breeze. :-) Very fun post.
BTW, if you come out west for a visit sometime, Seattle has a lot of classic vehicles running on the road everyday and kept meticulously. Oh, and did you catch that NPR program on people who actually DO fall in love with inanimate objects? Apparently it's a real phenomenon. Well, if vehicles lose their charm, I have this red headed friend I'd love to introduce you to. ;^)

Kim ,
I have my hands full with l'amour! ha ( I wish!!!!)
I did envision myself with a scarf flowing in the breeze however. I would LOVE to come your way sometime and just follow you around and shoot photos all day and night in your fabulous city.
V
PS May I keep my options open? :)

The ragtop's hot alright but I suspect that after the initial infatuation wears off, you'll come back to the truck.
I am "all" for the pick up truck!!
I wanted a red jeep when I got mine but got talked out of it into the blue - now I know I still want the red.
gorgeous shots - I can see why you are in love
Red hot! No wonder you can't decide!
Borrow my red chair and contemplate.
BTW, no, my red chair was from a photo-outing with the Twin Cities crew.
I'm in lurve myself with this hottie. What is it about red cars. They get pulled over more by the police as it's assumed they are the the worst speeders, yet statistics have shown red is one of the safest colours. I will shut up now.
