Herb Garden to Go!

Well this is just genius if you ask me. All the herbs, planted in these great old boxes, the whole schamolly DONE! All you have to do is drop down to the Pepper Place Market next Saturday and pick one up.

Where's V?? Maybe this hint will help.

Have you gone to so cal to be a surfer girl? If so maybe you brought one of these beauties to Judy. And then maybe you'll hop on a plane and bring a tray to Vermont. We didn't get the snow here in the south east so it would be safe from freezing.

I am hoping for a nice Sunday so I can do a similar shot and get some small flowering plants for our lone window box .. living in a pied a terre has its drawbacks

Now that's my idea of gardening.

A wonderful garden. Good luck with the herbs.

My son who is backpacking in New Zealand is currently working on a citrus farm, putting small lemon trees no more than 6 inches tall into pots with new soil. 30,000 lemon trees to be planted, that's about three weeks work!

Makes it real easy for non-gardeners. Nice way to use old boxes.

Who is going to water them while you are away... with flowers in your hair!!! ;~)))

Now how is THAT going to work?

Treat parsley like basil (water like crazy, keep it hot and humid and well fertilised) and it's going to shoot within seconds.

Treat basil like parsley and it's going to die.

Beautiful light in your shot, V.!

Hmmmm.... I'd need a lot more basil than that. Pretty idea tho, although not really enough space for when they get going.
