Charles Buchanan, it features the works of 30 Central Alabama artists. In addition, the gallery is also offering lectures and hands on workshops. Recently I had the pleasure of photographing a workshop led by
Patrick Mayton. Patrick, part owner of the Stranded Art Co-op in Montevallo, was leading his students through the fascinating silk screen process. The show will hang through March 26th.

That's a fine shot with the bucket. It grabs the eye.
Never did learn how to do silk screen...always thought it would be interesting! (I started out as an art major in college...)
I know pretty much nothing about silk screening, but I'll bet it was fun to photograph the process! You do get into some interesting stuff!
How fascinating to see how silk screen printing is done. Love the light on the hair of the lady in the main photo and of course the shadow.
