"Night walked down the sky with the moon in her hand."
Frederick L. Knowles
For quite sometime I have followed my dear Brattcat at Brattleboro Brief ( Brattleboro, VT). I admire her excellent photographs but perhaps even more, her gift with the written word, which she shares with us daily. Today, a photograph that I think she might like and a quote I have borrowed because I don't have her wondrous gift. Brattcat.......pour toi mon chère amie.

bravo, une belle gestion de la lumiere entrante, j'aime beaucoup
Merci, chere amie. I do indeed love this image with its many notes of brown. And I love the quote which sends me on a wondrous journey through my own sky. But most of all I love the connection we have made, the two of us, but truly all of us who give our spirits, our time, our attention, and our gifts of image and word to this community. You, my dear, are such a talented photographer and such a fine friend...I wish I'd had you as an elementary school teacher...I hope some day to study with you the making of extraordinary images. Thank you for shining this beautiful Alabama moonlight on my tender Vermont day.
Virg, is that the bathroom window? Lovely....
Lovely Virginia!
Yup! I go to the 'kitty' for my daily dose too. This is an outstanding image in every way. It even feels warm. And that's cool.
gorgeous images. i love seeing the work that you do and share
Moonlight? Wow, great composition and exposure - and, I'm guessing. a rock-solid tripod.
A beautyful and perfect tribute to Brattcat. You could not choose better than this picture and this quote to illustrate her beautyful mind and spirit.
Lovely photo, Virginia, love the mood.
A beautiful photo and with lovely sentiments expressed in the quotation. And thank you for the link to Brattleboro. I have been enjoying her photos tonight and look forward to adding her blog to my 'favorites'.
