We're Hobos Ma'am Part II - Man's Best Friend

Obviously these two were pals that traveled together. I'll be honest, I was more afraid of the collar than the dog!

See yesterday's post for Part I of this series.

Great portraiture of the two. The dog looks a little protective. Brave to make such a photo and thanks for showing.

He can't be too penniless if he can afford a collar like that for his dog. Here in France, the SDF (homeless people) often have their dogs on a piece of rope.

Beautiful Virginia, great image. Love your choice of black and white.

That's both tender and a little scary. Did you find out the meaning of the strange tattoo on his cheek? This gentleman looks a lot more hobo than than yesterday's. It interesting that they travel in a pack rather than solo.

I was about to say the same thing. Great photo. Dog looks like a pussy cat...

I'm fascinated that you actually found this hobo community...and that they were willing to be photographed! This is a superb photo V...
I'm fascinated by the tattoo...the dog collar...the whole concept!

This is such an interesting shot - the dog is alert with ears back - and that collar! The man is submissive looking at the dog and both hands are totally slack - he's not even holding the dog. What a relationship! And what a satisfying shoot you had that day!

I would love to know more about that tattoo. I hope the dog is well cared for.
