Ominous Skies....

but thankfully not as devastating.   Friday we all watched the weather non-stop, dreading the worst.  Thankfully, the storms that hit were north and west of Birmingham but sadly there was loss of life and property in other areas.  Here in Birmingham, we enjoy such wonderful weather practically year round, but it's a tradeoff with tornadoes and hurricanes that seem to come all too frequently.

Must be very scary those hurricanes. I saw it on the news, terrible. Glad you are safe.

I love bare trees against the winter sky.
Today was beautiful and bright and full of breezes! A little bird reminded me I need to check in here more often!
Guess what? IN about 11 weeks...I am going to have a whole lotta time on my hands...hanging up my book satchel! Hugs!!

It was a scary afternoon and night, and much destruction and loss of life northwards. At least with hurricanes we get more warning!

A beautiful photo...looks to peaceful to be part of such devastating storms...I think I prefer our earthquakes to your tornadoes...
