Change is Good

I'll admit right here that when I went by Continental Bakery a few weeks ago I was taken aback.  WHAT? Where are the chairs that I've photographed a million times and posted on this blog?  I was a bit bummed, but last week I went back armed with my camera and had a go at the new seating arrangement. Maybe I can love both.

The new setting needs more room...

Maybe the wall has to get a paint yet? The chairs look comfortable, but suit not so well with the table as the ones before.

is that the place we stopped in to have coffee after we dropped Mary off and went photo hunting? Love the old/new chairs and that wall

Yes, it is. And the chairs look pretty comfy as well.

Reminds me of one of JM's decay pictures. Very nice scene. I think I could get to like it.

For some reason this remands me of a French cafe which is perhaps what they were going for being the Continental bakery.

Nothing wrong more comfortable seating...leads to sitting and enjoying another cup of coffee!!!

Looks decadent. That can have its good points.

Change can be good. There are changes for the better and changes for the worse. You will have to give us your opinion when you reach a conclusion.

I looked at all your photos of the bakery and see that they use several styles of chairs. You'll have to tell us if these new ones are comfortable or not.

Just love that battered wall and those chairs look good and comfortable - perhaps more so than the previous ones. I'd not mind at all sitting here and having a glass of wine or a coffee - whichever chair. A lovely photo. Adore the header, V.
