Two Chairs
While I am in France, I've asked area photographers to sub for me. Please leave a comment!Today my friend Leo Ticheli ( you've already met him here) has kindly offered this lovely addition to the Chair Series as my guest photographer. Leo is a cinematographer and he told me he added a little pizazz to his photograph. I would ask him how he did it, but I wouldn't understand!!! I'll just enjoy the finished product!

Nervous As A Cat.....
on a porch full of rockers!
Last week I visited The Commissary on Overton Road for the first time. They had a terrific selection of gifts, furniture and artwork , but the building and the porch were a photographer's delight. I'm not a cat person but this stray cat, that the owner told us had just made herself at home in their rockers, was too good to pass up. The porch was chock full of wonderful things from the great color on the concrete steps, to the fabulous chair that I managed to sneak in for my Chair Series!
My thanks to Wildeve for this thoughtful award. I pass it on to my friend FireLight at The Keeping Room. Oh how I wish I had her writer's gift. Her wondrous words move me to tears, smiles, and so much more. I am so grateful for her friendship.

Have a Seat- Table/Chair Series III
#3 in my *"Table and Chairs Series" this week can be found at Chez Fonfon French bistro in Birmingham's Five Points South area. We spent several days here last September when my friends flew off to La Bonne Etoile and I was suffering major French envy.
* Merci Kim at Seattle DP for the idea of making this week's offerings into an ongoing series.
