They always have checkers set up under a tent at the East Lake Farmers' Market. These two boys were serious!
I will be teaching my photography classes FROM SNAPSHOTS TO PHOTOGRAPHSat Samford After Sundown this summer, beginning July 23 for 5 weeks. Would love to have you join the class.
You got them deep in thought. Checkers always seemed boring to me and chess was too hard to play well for my limited brainpower. I like all the red, though.

My eye is instantly drawn to red! Like the way the vibrancy of colour and pattern juxtaposes with the quiet focus of the players!
Ruby
there's a healthy serving of rouge for our Virginia.
You can see many scenes similar to this in Miami, except that the boys would be old men and they'd be drinking something! Oh, and they'd be from Cuba.
it looks like a very intense game and i like that they match!
Would love to but the commute would be a killer. These guys are my kinda guys. Forget chess. Checkers, a really manly game. Anyone playing Candyland?
Great shot...I love to play checkers...

It reminds me of a white chess set by Yoko Ono..
