Hanging Out at Art in Avondale Park

From time to time for this next week, I'll be posting photos from last year's very successful Art in Avondale Park show last spring.  We have another one coming up on Saturday, Oct. 20th from 10-4 so come on out and meet the artists, hear live music and let the kids do some fun activities as well.  It's a show for the whole family.

Today, vintage jewelry by my talented friend Christy Turnipseed. Here company Li'l Seeds feature jewelry made from old maps, sheet music, books...just about anything! I have Paris maps and Métro maps pendants myself!

What a clever display! Love it. Great shot too, V.

A very original concept. Love your friend's name. She should name her child Pumpkin.

I can't visualize how old maps could be made into jewelry, but I like the concept.
