I am unaware of a sizable Mexican population in your city. Is there an explanation for the celebration of the Day of the Dead?

Kate, yes we have a sizable Hispanic population and this is a wonderful celebration that the whole city participates in . I added a link to the origin etc.

Did you happen to notice a huge ram's skull on a short lady, and a taller man with a conventional skull mask escorting her? That was my son and daughter-in-law. I wish I could have been there!
