Things Are Buzzing

In Ginger's garden. They didn't seem a bit concerned that I was photographing them!

Thankful

That the bees are buzzing and pollinating at the M-Power Community Garden in Avondale.

Tools of the Trade

 For a beekeeper.

Stewart Perry Construction's wonderful LEED certified facility is home to some happy bees as well!

Bless the Bees

Without them.... we're out of luck!

Let Me See You Shake a Tail Feather!

I visited M-Power Ministries' great community garden yesterday and the bees were hard at work.

Buzzzzy Work!

M Power's wonderful Community Garden on 4th Avenue South in Avondale.  These happy bees are living amongst the tomatoes, okra, beans and glorious flowers.  A beautiful, well kept neighborhood garden. More photos to come.

Things Are Buzzing Around Here

Welcome to Birmingham.... The Pollen Capital of the South!

Things Are Buzzing Around Here

Want to guess how many I shot before I got this?  And for the record, I can relate to this busy bee!

Back Off, Lady!

This shot is dedicated to Nathalie at Avignon FR Daily Photo , Marley at Cheltenham Daily Photo , and our friend Abe Lincoln who blogs from Brookville, OH. They are superb macro photographers. They have  inspired me to get,  probably a little too close to this guy!  He had his beady little eyes right on me!
