Pink House I

The Bridges Studios, the historic home in Edgewood has new owners and been thankfully spared from the wrecking ball. Over the past two weeks, I've had the privilege of getting to know the owners and capturing all the wonderful sculpture in and around the home. It's lovingly referred to as The Pink House, for obvious reasons. I hope you'll enjoy touring the home and gardens!

The Garden Gate

While driving through the Edgewood neighborhood behind Homewood Park last week, this gorgeous bevined (don't try this on Words With Friends, I made it up) gate caught my eye. A u-turn was in order. What lies beyond?  I know. I took a peek.

Start Spreading the News...

YROY WEN, KROY WEN!

New York Pizza in the charming Edgewood neighborhood of Homewood, has been dishing up great pizza  and a fine antipasto salad, since 1982.

And of course, Frank has a song for you today right here.

SWEET!!!

Soho Sweets in the family friendly Edgewood neighborhood on Oxmoor Road, is a kid's paradise. I think their colorful tables and chairs outside are a photographer's paradise!  On this drizzly, chilly day, they made me drag out my camera.  A very colorful so long to summer!

I"m gathering a group of photographers for my Snapshots to Photographs class. I'll teach them starting in October for five weeks. This series is designed for amateur photographers with any type digital camera. Want to improve the quality of your photographs? Contact me!
