Want to guess which one?? ( Hint: Ooh-la-la!) These great costumes are from Zoe's Consignment Shop in Forest Park. We've been there before, last Valentine's Day here.
I was gonna make a crack about that psychadelic number in the middle, and come to find out it's your birthday! (You have the same birthday as my sister, how 'bout that?) Then I was gonna ask Karin to chip in with me and buy you a bottle of good, four dollar scotch, but I see she's already gotten you a gift. So my original plan will have to work: I'm having the psychadelic number gift-wrapped and sent to you in time for Halloween.
With that *wow*PHIL of an outfit it will be bottoms up every time she bends over to "dust". Happy birthday, chickadee!! How about a virtual pair of fish-nets with elastic lace tops to twang each time you replace your hip-flask.
To you babe from Down-Under! Have a rip-snorter ...
Petrea, I've got the French Maid outfit to go and I"m ready for a glass of champagne, s'il vous plait!! Thank you for you wonderful birthday wishes. I'm toasting all my friends with bubbly! Tash, you're included! V

V, V, V: not a hint of red! Okay, so a slash of red on the lips and 5" patent leather stilettos. Close?
Really darling. I'm going to have to rethink my non-costume.
Oh, Virginia, you little devil! Are you the upstairs or the downstairs maid...?
Clever place to go for clothes like these. Nice post.
Happy Birthday, Virginia! I pick the upstairs maid one. It suits you. LOL
I love all the colors in the window.
I'm pretty sure it's the crazy pink and green one... no?
I've been looking for the exact same one for my wife.
B2, well it's mine all mine! :)
Maya,
Surely you jest!
Julie,
That will work I'm sure.
Karen,
Upstairs? OUi!!!!!!
Bibi,
That's moi!
Thanks Abe.
Tash,
You do!!!
I can't wait till Saturday to see your autoportrait!
Funny! I've never aspired to being a maid though - French or otherwise.
I like the psychedelic Pucci-ish dress. The French maid thing is nice too but too predictable. :-)
Halcyon,
Oh THIS maid has no intentions of doing any WORK! :)
Ming,
I'd forgotten about Pucci! And if anything, I'm usually preditable when it comes to Paris! :)
Faux Pucci ... definitely
Not THAT kind of work, anyway.
Happy, happy birthday bay-beee. I will raise a toast to you with something much tastier than scotch.
Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday to you!
You live in Alabama!
I'll overlook that for you!
I want to see the pictures, I'm sure you're cute as a button.
I'll join for the Happy Birthday song!
Joyeux Anniversaire Virginia.
For the costumes I can picture you in all of them... the pink jupon being my Favorite!
I'm sure you'll look great in any of those! :-)
Hope you're having a wonderful day, V.!
Ya'll are the best. I've laughed all day.
Merci,
V
I bought you a feather-duster.
Well, hello Miss Virginia!
Hiker,
Oh for my "work" the feather duster won't be needed. Well.....
Marley,
Bonsoir Monsieur!
A very, very happy birthday to you, V. Bottoms up!
