I was at the Birmingham Museum of Art yesterday for my weekly volunteer duties assisting with the grand new exhibit,
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. I looked out over the Sculpture Garden and saw water standing everywhere and .....lo and behold! When I left for the day, I grabbed my camera and headed outside to find those puddles. Thankfully the rain had stopped and I got some interesting reflections.
DON'T FORGET THE YALE EXHIBIT SHOWING NOW AT THE BMA!

Say, that's kinda neat.
That's one way to reflect upon a museum visit! Nice shot!
i love it !
The colored reflections in various materials are the reflections I like the most. We should do a serie one day...
By the way "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." Any quick instructions Manual? lol
This is really wonderful.
Oh you knew I would love this ... we're due a lot of rain beginning this afternoon and your photo has inspired me to turn this from a yucky rainy messy thing into a photo hunt for reflections! Merci!
I find these puddle reflections intriguing. They brighten a crummy day.
Virg...when I opened your site today I thought that I was on the wrong page - scrolled back up and saw your masthead whew! How appropriate of you to select a French photographer - makes me want to see Iceland!
The reflections are stunning - wouldn't it be cool blown up and printed on canvas for a contemporary loft apt???
Bought your birthday card yesterday...it's sooo YOU!
xx,

beautiful find
Colorful puddles!
Virginia, this is a fantastic one.
VERY nicely done. That terrace can be a bit austere, but you managed to find a rewarding way to look at it.
Dystopos,
Well thank you very much!!!
Ciel, Merci!
