Patina, is a lovely word.... and copper objects are much nicer with it than all polished and shiny
I feel like rubbing my hands all over this bowl. I love copper.
It is said that it's healthy drinking milk using copper bowls or glasses!

Patina...nice word. And I'm reminded of the French "patiner" = to skate: our eye skids over the surface lightly taking in the forms. Flares are difficult to control in items like this copper bowl. (Take that from a Ham House ghost).
Patinas are great for B&W....indeed the last few shots would probably have looked well as B&Ws.
A bit difficult to clean when not in use for jam making! Beautiful shot.

For all my French friends, I've learned something new today. I had no idea that jam/marmalade was made in copper bowls! Guess that's a clue that I've never made any. :)

I"ll agree with the BW for la Louvre but as you know from my email, I didn't think this bowl made the transition as well. THought provoking. Now I"m trying other shots in BW as well.!
