I walked all around my Forest Park neighborhood yesterday. A glorious, warm , sunny autumn day. I found so much to share with you. Today, these nice seed pods.

Well, for heaven's sake, my word verification is 'reine'! That must make you queen, or else perhaps the seed pods' points look like those on a crown. Either case would be okay!

Yesterday was a beautiful day in the neighborhood wasn't it? I spent my lunch hour in the car enjoying the play of light on the trees in the woods at the end of our parking lot. I love that spot. It is a serene getaway from the bustle of our office. I envy you your walk through Forest Park. It must have been refreshing after our recent endless days of rain and gloom.

It was a grand day. My car is in the shop so I had to trek to IPC to take some photos so I took advantage of the photo ops along the way.
