Stripes - Table/Chair Series

Sometimes I stumble on the best photo ops when I least expect it.  I went to Wine and Whiners, a really fun group as you've probably  guessed,  last Wednesday afternoon ( after 5 of course!!).  I had never been to Beth's home before and wasn't prepared for all of the great photographs that awaited me.  I took one look around and high tailed it to the car for my trusty camera.  Here's but one example.  I had a little post processing fun with this one so I'm including another photo so you can see how pretty this table and chairs looks tucked away in her backyard.

I love the first one, Virginia! And brava to your friend Beth, she chose lovely colours for her garden!

Good job! Of course, already the "original" has a lot of charm!

I totally missed this image in my list: it is not exactly a "typical" VJ ... whatever that may be. And this I guess is good ... always keep the crowd guessing rather than letting them expect more of the same.

There is a transition going on under the surface here, VJ. Goodo ...

I do love the name of that group.

One of our CDPB (Selim) needs support, VJ ...

Hi, Virginia! Am currently a victim (since last Thursday...) of internet havoc, so I haven't been checking blogs! Been using scheduled posting from friends' places.

I like the first photo, the angle, the lines....

Again a photo (first one) according to my taste, Virginia.
The colors I can very well imagine a well framed poster oft it.

Julie,
I cannot translate Selim's post! Can you enlighten me? Personal or is it the government again? I'll ask Diederick.

Artistic, both the photo and the setting.

I love the first one. I thought it was a bench or something at first.

You really do "find" the best photos.

Halcyon,
This daily THING, has turned me into a photo hound!

Julie,
Yep, I"m itching to step out of my box and experiment a little. Some of it might work, some probably won't have mass appeal. I"ve got a few more tucked away for another day. I can't leave anything the way it is for very long. Hang on to your seat!

Juergen,
A poster? hmmmmmm. That could be fun!

Alice,
YOU are the one that stepped out of your box on your blog. My mouth is still hanging open!

Valeria,
Beth has one of the most interesting homes! I took photos inside and out! BTW, your lady on the balcony was a great shot!

Bibi,
Sorry about your internet. I freaked at the Apple Store the other day when they said I'd have to leave my Mac for 3 days. I'm leaving while I'm in France. I'm too "connected" to part with it!HA

Peter,
It reminds me of a blue table/chair I saw at Place des Vosges outside a cute little shop!

Poloroid, RR and Olivier
Thanks, glad you liked it!

Very nice, cool contrast. It just shows always have your camera with you, something I still don't do!

A great Summer feeling!

The title is "Who am I?" and the image is recycled as I note. I could not get an understandable translation but it is talking about change and going away. Does Diederick know anything?

Where was my wino, I mean whiner invite? It's quite 3D. I'd advise turn the lights out and look at the screen to see the illusion of layers and curious glow. See I do take photography seriously, well sometimes. Reminds me of Burd's work, and I do miss his stuff as I know you must too.

B,
What a compliment. Burd was one of my favorites. I wish I knew where he was and how he's doing. I'll wait till later and cut the lights. I'm laughing at that one. Cheap thrills? And you would make the Wine and Whiners group so much fun!!

KM and Laurie , come on. KM we need a man to spice up our group!

Marley, I'll tell you again. YOu gotta have that camera at all times!

Colorful lines, so bright, almost glowing. I'm sensing a splash of red from the whine wine.
