Antiques.......On a Shoestring!

Yesterday I took myself to a place I've been eyeing for a long time. On a Shoestring, in the Bluff Park neighborhood on Shades Mountain, is just a great place for photographs, antiques and collectibles, of course. ( Note to self: Take photography students here!!!) The couple that owns the store are just so friendly, and I had a grand time poking around the place. I have a lot of photos to share in the future. Today, the back of the old, red caboose on the property that houses the 50% off items!

Adore this.

(If anyone were to leave snide remarks, I would have thought they'd show up on the last post.)

Est-ce que vous avez acheté quelque chose dans cette boutique? Un vieux vase, de la vaisselle, un livre ancien, un vieux meuble?
Je vois que, même l'enseigne ANTIQUES, est très vieille !

JB,
I know what you're thinking, "Takes one to spot one!" You're not far behind me you know, so you'd better watch it!

Claudine,
Non,rien!!! :(

Hiker,
Our dear Marley would have left a zinger on yesterday's post. I miss him. I email him now and again and check on him. I've told him we miss his wonderful wit!

I think I've been there before....and if I'm thinking of the same place, it was great fun poking around there.

Um, well, they aren't spending a lot on signage. I hope the prices of the merchandise reflect that.

I love the colors. At first (and if I squint my eyes a little now) it almost has an abstrct quality to it, which I always like.
