BADP On The Road - Cincinnati Reflection

Today the doors of one of the most beautiful churches I've ever visited, St. Peter in Chains Cathedral in Cincinnati. I loved the reflection of the Isaac M. Wise Temple ( or the Plum Street Temple) across the street. It was not open that day so Mary and I were unable to tour it. I will have more of this church however. It contains some amazing stained glass.

FROM SNAPSHOTS TO PHOTOGRAPHS
My next series of five two hour classes will be starting again soon. For those in the Birmingham AL area, contact me for more details. These classes are designed for the amateur photographer who wants to improve their vacation and family photos!

DISCOVERING THE MAGIC
For the more experienced photographers out there, I have a new class starting in September that will focus on creative ways to photograph our city!

What a great reflection of interfaith! :)

BTW, is the link about the temple supposed to go to Maya's blog?

My rabbi studied and was ordained in Cincinnati so it must be a good place. Have fun.

And those houses of worship are across the street from the Delta Call Center - when I worked from there I had amazing views - next time Virg I'll take you to the top of the parking garage and you can have a better vantage point. Thanks for making Cincinnati look so important!

"One of the most beautiful churches I've ever visited" is saying a lot, since I know you've visited so many beautiful churches in Paris. Lovely photo, V.

What a shot! I will always remember my first time going through the Cincinnati airport! I should have a picture somewhere: the nicest airport ever at the time, it was twenty years ago or even more... the bartenders were dancing in front of the gates to attract people... it was so much fun.

Dina,
I've fixed the link, thanks for mentioning it! I fiddle with my posts so much it's a miracle it doesn't happen more often.

Mary,
You left me a lot to see on my next visit. Can't wait!

Bibi and Olivier,
Merci!

Therese,
You're home from France! I hope you had great visit with friends and family.

Petrea,
Wait till you see the stained glass wall!

I love this shot! It's so welcoming and inviting...and clearly a preview of coming attractions. Was the door propped open or did you do that?

So is there an inner courtyard? The light and dark parts of the scene are sort of in the wrong places. Gets my attention.

Bob,
No, the Jewish Temple is reflected in the glass door of the Catholic Church. Neat huh??? Very nice neighbors.
