Vestavia Elementary West
This might just be a little mini-series as I share some photos from schools around town that I have had the pleasure to photograph. I taught 3rd grade for 19 years and retired in 2008. Some things, like today's photo, never change. A child discovering the wonder of reading. Makes my heart sing.
I will be sharing other new and innovative things happening around schools in days to come. The times, they are a changing!

A very cute photo, Virginia. Little girls dress much more nicely in Alabama than in the north.
