Meet my very good friend and well known Birmingham photographer Larry Gay. Larry and I have been friends a long time and run into each other all over town. He is exhibiting his work "Art Is Where You Find It" at The Abbey coffee shop in Avondale.  Stop by and have a look and buy LOTS of prints!

This old door in an alleyway off 20th Street North caused me to stop my car, jump out and take a quick shot.  My photographer friend Larry O. Gay says, "Art is where you find it." I listened.

My good friend and talented Birmingham photographer Larry O. Gay, posts photos on Facebook with the title "Art Is Where You Find It".  I'm always inspired by LG's great eye.  Today, the compost bin at Oliver Elementary's outdoor classroom created by Jones Valley Teaching Farm,  caught my eye on a recent visit. Loved the colors!

Well meet my new friend Larry Gay. I met Larry at Art Walk last Saturday. Come to find out he's a Birmingham photographer AND a follower of my blog. We had a great time chatting, and I might add Larry has one very large, very fine lens! ( I'm a little jealous). He sent me some of his Art Walk photos and I decided to take the day off, prop my feet up, and let Larry take over today. Take it away......Larry!
