Barber Motorsports Museum is a MUST SEE when visiting Birmingham. This world renowned facility showcases over 1200 vintage motorcycles and race cars. I am hoping to get there again for more photos. Stay tuned!

It's Not Easy Being Green
Actually I have a very special reason for posting this vintage car today. On Thursday I will be going back to Ted's Garage for a fundraiser/auction for the Heart Gallery. The Heart Gallery asks photographers to take portraits for Alabama youngsters in foster care that want and need a loving family to open their arms and their hearts to them. I couldn't be more proud to donate some of my photographs for Fotos, Frames and Fun, to raise much needed funding for this wondeful agency. I have my fingers crossed that I'll be called on one day to take some of those portraits.

Theme Day - Doorways Redux
Oh I'll admit it right here. I was clueless about CDP's Theme of Doorways until late Saturday night when I hopped over to Marley's blog and saw it. Grrrr. How is it I am caught off guard every single month??? As I perused the delightful assortment of doorways that my blog friends offered up, I was taken with Paula's Pensacola DP blog's vintage Mustang door. What a great idea. Awwww I had a great car door in my stash too. I didn't think of it first, but as the copy cat ( copy chat on my Paris blog) that I am , here's my runner up.
This is a grand old car I photographed at the Pepper Place last month when they had a host of fabulous vintage cars. I loved this drive in movie speaker on the window. Oh some sweet memories there!!!
And many thanks to my friend Paula for thinking of it first!

Meandering in Lotus Land
Oh I see some of you shaking your heads. OK, this isn't THE "Meandering in Lotus Land", this is the Birmingham version. We're back to the Barber Motorsports Museum where they have more Lotus competition cars than anywhere else in the United States. I loved the shiny silvery vintage ones the best, but the boys loved the awesome red one!

Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!
We're back at Ted's Garage today. This place was just too full of wonderful photo ops for just one post. Today, another taste of the snazzy old cars and vintage atmosphere . Who knows, we could come back again if you'd like. I have a trunk full of photos left!
Yes, Ted did drive this one from Peking to Paris!
PURE nostalgia
