You got me, too, with photo # 1. I just adore peeling paint. I'm about to check out Jones Valley Urban Farm....they have peppers like that here, too, tons of them, but some are sweet and some are hot.

I visited the Opera house in Hudson NY this WE, and it's the same red..same peeling paint..I wonder why they were all painted red?
