Curvy Iron Chairs

My friends and I have lunch at V. Richards in Forest Park, our neighborhood market, most Sundays after church. If the weather's fine, you can dine outside and have a seat on these great curvy iron chairs under their bright red umbrellas. Aside from their terrific deli, it's a great little market with specialty items and wine!

I never tire of rust! And on beautiful wrought iron like this, it's at its best. Love the shot with the shadows. If you sit on these chairs, don't you get rust on your clothes? Perhaps it's a 'rust effect'with a protective coat of something put on afterwards?

The mix of colours in this photograph is just lovely.

Makes a nice photo alright.

I hope they're more comfy than they look.

V, I just love re-discovering my hometown with you! The photo..as always...so detailed and unique!
I have received the Paris calendar which will be for a dear friend's birthday in December. Paris is a very special place for her...and she was our tour guide there for a day!
Check my comment on your recent Vulcan post...loved that one!

FireLight,
Ooh merci for ordering a calendar!!! I hope your friend enjoys it as much as i enjoyed being there to take the photos!!!!

And may I also thank the management at V RIchards for allowing my friend Jean and me to have some iced tea on "credit" today! We took the long neighborhood walk and gave out and needed refreshment - unfortunately without any money!!!

God. You are annoying! This is the best photo ever!

V, I love it! You and rust and red seem to go hand in hand. (that is supposed to be a compliment, btw!)

Those curvy iron chairs are cute but they don't look very comfy...so it's a good thing that the food and wine is good!

Nice photo with that shadow giving us the whole picture!

OK, to be perfectly honest, we don't sit in these chairs but opt for more comfortable ones. That said, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the look of these. I've pined over them and I'm glad you like them as well. And Marley, I"m RUSTY now so I"m drawn to rust! :)
