These waiters at Chez Fonfon, on Birmingham's 5 Points District, were enjoying the calm before the storm. I caught them right before the evening crowd began to gather. Chez Fonfon is one of Chef Frank Stitt's fine restaurants here in Birmingham. Check one of my earlier posts for a photo of their outdoor dining area.

Chez Fonfon? I think you can eat some cuisine française there...
Waiters waiting. I love it! Black and white is perfect for this one. Well done Virginia!
Excellent photo! And perfect in black and white!
Sorry for my lack of visits this week, the end of last week saw me unwell and in need of a change around with the blogging I do, I am now getting back to normal... as if I've ever been normal.. ha!

I do love those french uniforms for waitors. It makes the dining experience so much classier than, say a purple haired girl with multiple piercings and tattoos asking, "What can I get ya?"
Unfortunately, I dine at the later establishments more frequently than the former.
Just fabulous in black and white.
I like your black and white version of this.
Ah, c'mon, you took this in a small town in Provence, didn't you? Wherever the location, you really captured the atmosphere. BTW, my wife just saw your comments on her Nepal pix and sends her thanks.
They are so still! This is wonderful.
Strangetastes,

I like this black and whit photograph. It suits the scene you captured ... It looks like it's from an good old days ....
