Play It Again, Michael

Meet my friend and part time boss, Michael Dulin.  He is an accomplished musician/ composer and recently I have had the privilege of helping him market his latest CD, "Follow the River". Due to his extraordinary talent and my humble clerical skills, he was ranked Number 1 for the month of June in the New Age/ Smooth Jazz category - worldwide!  I couldn't be more proud.  I have hounded him mercilessly to let me photograph him while he "tinkled the ivories" !  He finally caved.  I regret that I cannot let you hear him play right here on my blog, but you can hear him here and and find out more here.  Birmingham is fortunate indeed to have a talent the likes of Michael Dulin in our midst.

UPDATE: You can now listen to the music of Michael Dulin on Deezer.com!! Enjoy.

Bonjour Virginia !
Elle est bien prise la photo de l'artiste...
Quant au piano, c'est bien de voir toutes ses cordes et ses marteaus...

J'écouterai ce soir sa musique, et Te dirai demain ce que j'en pense...
A bientôt...

What better thing to market than good music!

Another great portrait! I really like the photo of the piano as well. The colors are soothing. I have a feeling today is going to be stressful. I may come back to your pic later! Or maybe I'll sample some of Michael's work. :)

Thanks guys! I hope you will search around in ITunes. I am sure there was a better way to link to his cd's but at midnight, I couldn't conjure it up.

Webradio, this is the musician I wanted you to hear. We need to get him in the French market so I can go on a "business trip"! Work with me here!

This has a warm, peaceful feeling. I'm guessing you shot this under incandescent lamps with no other light source. That's what makes the color. (Of course, my guess could be completely wrong.)

amazing! number 1 worldwide? that is so cool! whose rankings are these? i also love the new banner image (i don't know how new it is, i haven't been back here for a few days, i'm sorry!).
if you still haven't got anything for green/blue Challenge, go ahead and use frida! i don't mind at all :)
though a shot of the grass and the sky from a park wouldn't be too hard (but kinda lacks imagination). i'll be back tomorrow to see what you've got up! :)

Now that is cool! No1 and you had a hand it in. I'm virtually patting you both on the back. The more you blog the more you realise the world is full of talented people that would not have a platform but not for the net.

Off to hunt down the tunes. I see you are nearly 100 days. A public announcement please.

This is a great portrait. Is he going to use it for publicity? I hope so.
