Bunnies and Kittens and Lilly, Oh My!

Many of my longtime readers will remember this precious child.  Last October,  I featured my dear friends' daughter Lilly right before she had her first cochlear implant at Children's Hospital. We are so very thankful that she has hearing in that ear now!  Yesterday her mommy asked me to take more photos before her second surgery scheduled for today.  I am blessed.   Lilly, we are praying for you and send all of our love your way!

These are all nice shots, but the mother/daughter portrait is stunning!

Lily is growing up. I hope all went well with her surgery. Little ones are so vulnerable, of course, they're always our little ones no matter how old they are.

I absolutely LOVE the top photo, so genuine; look at her expression!

Long live cochlear implants. I am hard-of-hearing, too, and can appreciate their value. (Does one now say 'hearing impaired'? Whatever--I can't hear too well without my little earpieces!)

Virginia, Two of my favorite subjects - Lilly AND Kittykins all in one! These pictures are ALL wonderful - one more favorite then the last. I was wondering how Lilly was doing. Prayers for the second surgery - please let us know that all went well. (L.C., my beautiful, long haired, black kitty likes seeing his favorite Kittykins NOT being in trouble for a change)

Lovely flower today again! I'm so happy to know the first step is ok and I'm sure everything will be fine very soon!
About your post of yesterday, it is not a magnolia on your third shot?

Have you ever think of working on advertisement? The 1st shot could be a terrific campaign for 'Babygrow' or something of the kind! :-)
Fantastic photo!

the skin tone on the last photo matches the petal flowers from the last post. And the same gentle beauty.

I think that the middle picture is exceptionally good family portraiture. Both mother and child are looking at the camera but the bond is obvious. The lighting is fabulous.

Aw shucks this is just the cutest. Tell Lily-kins The Manx Fairies have waved their wand and all have whisked magic fairy dust her way, special delivery. Wishing you well Lily, you are just far to cute for naughty ear trolls.
