like we did last summer. I found this box full of wonderful old 45's at What's On 2nd? recently. The first thing I thought of was this song by Chubby Checker. ( Well I was way up on the third floor where it was very warm, so Chubby's song just sprang to mind!)
By the way, these 45's were selling for $1 a piece. I wish I had a turntable, oh I wish I still had a turntable.
This photo goes out to my two dear music buddies, JB and Jay Gilbert. They know more about the music we all love than any two people I know.

Oh, Virgina, baby! I've got as retro post today, too. Come on over for a cold drink (Dr. Pepper?) in one of my....go see. And we'll listen to Chubby Checker.
It looks as if someone turned a big juke box over and dumped out all the treasures. Great capture, V.
How great!
Awww, what a coincidence, JB and Jay Gilbert are MY two dear music buddies too!
Music can leave you 'cool' even on the 3rd floor.
Just one week ago today I saw Chubby Checker perform at the Cruise Night car show in Glendale, CA. Of course he did this very song. He called certain women and men who could especially shake their booties onto the stage. It was fun!
Ah 45s ... A side was Little White Cloud that Cried.. cant remember the B side ...
