Today my guest photographer is my friend Charles Ingram. Charles lives south of B'ham in Montgomery. He recently stepped out on his back porch early one morning and shared this glorious sunrise with me. As many of you know I'm not an early riser. Today however, if all goes as planned, Mary and I will be seeing a Paris sunrise at Aéroport Paris Charles de Gaulle. Wish us well.
While I'm away, my dear friends have once again offered their terrific photos for you enjoyment. Please feel free to leave them comments. They'll love them!

Lucky you! Have fun...
bon chance, cher amie.
Bon Voyage!
Another Parisian adventure! You are a most fortunate woman, Virginia. Have a ball!
Beautiful sky!
We arrived in the dark and rain at 6:30 am, but the day got better although our hair got worse!!! No sleep on the plane and we're too punchy to do the math on that !
more fun tomorrow.
Bonne nuit!

Great shot of a beautiful sunset!!! Thank you, Charles!
Virginia, have a great time in Paris, and a safe trip back home!
At first glance, I thought this one of those pictures of sunrise/set on a hot, dry day on the Serengeti Plain. No doubt Paris will be oh so much more civilized.
Welcome Charles! What a beautiful sunrise this is - may even entice Virginia to rise early once or twice. V - glad to hear you've arrived - look forward to hearing ALL about it. Have a great time!
What a fantastic shot, it feels like a sunrise in Africa - I'd expect to see a giraffe feeding off this tree any minute!
Have a safe trip to Paris dear Virginia. I'm sure you'll have a grand time!
I'm not an early riser either, so it's nice to enjoy a sunrise vicariously.
That being said, I am always fully awake when the plane is getting ready to land in the early morning in Paris!
