Kevin Irwin lost her mom a few months ago, so this
Day of the Dead Festival was very special to her. She stood in line for a very long time in order to get this fabulous face painting, but that wasn't all. Around her neck was her mom's locket, on her fingers, her rings and in her pocket the pink and blue beads she and her mom wore in the hospital the day she was born.

Great shot Virginia.
That face painting is exceptional!
She looks more festive and optimistic than mournful, which just might be healthy. That last item is very special.
