Some Like it HOT!!!

And some like it "medium".  Barron's Original Salsa stand at the Pepper Place is a favorite of mine.  I make several "passes" each Saturday for free chips and salsa. ( I've been accused of always tasting but never buying, which is NOT true!)  When I'm feeling really brave, I opt for the HOT, but most times I settle for  the medium.  Occasionally, I have a seat on the curb across from his stand and wait for some good photo ops to pass by me. If I'm lucky, he'll "deliver" a few for me!  Great guy, great salsa!

Bare Footin'

It's hot down here. So hot that now we're even kicking off our flip flops!

Today meet Peanut.  If you're lucky, you will find her at the Pepper Place Market some Saturday.  This day, I caught her with her flip flops tossed aside.  Doesn't she have a great smile? Oh and she can sing too!!!

A tune for you today right here.

Deck the Dogs.......

Last Saturday's  Pepper Place Holiday Market was just great fun.  I think I may have photographed one of these adorable dogs before, wearing a PPM ballcap,  but Saturday they just made me laugh out loud!  Santa Paws!!!

( How on earth did the owners get these two to keep these silly things on???)

Saturday Morning Blues

This is the second year that I've enjoyed Debbie Bond's music at the Pepper Place. Husband Rick plays the harmonica and keyboard. A few weekends ago they were joined by James who played a mean bass and had us all singing along with "Mustang Sally"!

Red Mountain - An Old-time String Band from Alabama. What a great name for a band ! I snapped their photos the last weekend of the Pepper Place Market a while back. I've selected just two photos for you today. Please stop by their site to learn more about this great musical group!!!
