What Is This?

Couldn't quite figure it out? Does this help???
                                 Photo #1
The McWane Science Center in downtown Birmingham is a great place for kids (and adults) to learn and play.  Somehow they never get tired of going.  Maybe it's because they do such a great job of rotating exhibits and always have exciting things for kids of all ages.  Don't miss the IMAX movie while you're there.  I chose this photo of several shiny panels on  a new addition that is under construction right now.  Had to get my lens through the chain link fence for this shot.

An amazing photo, Virginia. I can't get my eyes twisted just right to figure it out.

Patty and I will be celebrating 53 years of marriage on July 12th. Think of it as a long-term relationship.

I have invited bloggers to offer suggestions on a gift for me to give Patty and the list would not be complete without your ideas.

Interesting!
The McWane Science Center is wonderful about traveling with exhibits and demonstrations to reach children in other areas. Just last week, they did a "really cool" demo on solids, liquids and gases at the library and the St. Edmundite Learning Center here.

Ooh do I like this! Abstract, yet real, it really is a place to go visit.

hehe - I've done that too a few times.

Beats me! I got a lot of figure-ground problems here. There are apparently mirrored panels with a wall behind it but I have no idea what the function is. So it's today's mystery.

I stared at that photo for a while trying to figure what it was. I finally gave up and read your description instead.

I lie that -- trying to figure out something that isn't too obvious.

I wish we had something like that in my city instead of more malls and shopping centers ...

Wow! That was a bit tricky on the eye. Sounds like a cool place to visit, especially if you're a kid.

Top photo goves it away. Still just as intriguing.

A visual tongue twister...my eyes simply couldn't cope. This seems like a really good way of getting people interested in science.
