I remember those days in Japan where scenes like these were around the corner or in the next room. Exciting they were. Your photos are good reminders of those times when my waist size was 32.

I like all from Japan, in particular the houses and the inside of them : the light walls, so few furniture. I would like to be able to live so, simply surrounded with beauty... In San Francisco last spring I went to the Japanese Garden in the Golden Gate Park and had a tea there. It was so peacefull. In SF, Japantown is neat too. A part of Japan in America.

Our gardens weren't so peaceful on Saturday. Many many visitors there to see the exhibits etc. A gorgeous spring day in Birmingham!
