CDP Blog Day - Photo of the Year 2009

I thought this would be a difficult choice for me. After all, for a photographer having to choose your favorite photograph, is like choosing which of your children you love best! I started with the most recent posts and worked my way back. I gave an extra look at the ones with the most comments from you and then .........here she was. I knew immediately that this was IT! I hope you'll enjoy seeing her again as much as I did.

We wonder what is going through her very young mind. A very touching portrait.

You have a great blog here. I like checking out travel blogs much like yours at times. I have a blog myself which I hope will be a great resource for those looking to go on vacation. I want everyone to get that "vacation feeling" every time they come to my site. You know what I'm talking about.

I'd like to exchange links with you to help spread some traffic around between each other. Please let me know if this is possible. Until then, keep up the good work.

Louis,
I wonder myself.

Paula,
Merci!

Olivier,
How nice of you to say that!

She's a beauty and B&W is perfect! Interesting that so many of us selected photos of children, perhaps because of the freshness and innocence?

Great blend of hard rock/soft cloth; fancy dress/zip boots; here now cookie/somewhere else eyes; and yes, black/white. Super!

I've loved so many of your shots. But you did a brilliant job of choosing. I remember how striking this image was the first time it was posted and it is wonderful to see it making a return appearance. Bravo, V.

This is a sweet photo. Great choice!

Oh yes! She's perfection. That dress, those boots, the way she is standing and that expression - her eyes and of course the biscuit. All add up, with the wall, to make the most beautiful photograph.

Cool boots! And absolutely adorable!

What a great photo. The boots are just the frosting on the cookie, aren't they?

Janet said...

Her expression while eating the cookie is just priceless, and I love her boots!

I could be able to take a decent blue but you're the only one here around in CDP able to take kids in this way. Absolutely Superb Virginia !!!
