One of my first posts was of a little brother and sister sharing (or maybe not) a peach at the Pepper Place Market. This is my second helping of Alabama peaches.
Yesterday's photo sent some viewers running for their glasses or experiencing LSD type symptoms! Perhaps the added photo will give you a better perspective.

Peach Envy from here!
I wouldn't mind just one basket to see me through the rest of the evening.
Cheers!

Yay! The peaches are here!!!!
Oh, this one is a peach of a post! (couldn't resist)
Virginia, you have another nice one here. Well done!
i envy you for having this beautiful peaches photo
I really like DOF in you picture, makes it more interesting. But then, who is not love peaches! Cool shot.
I could just bite into one of those....lovely!
Thanks for the visit. I'll be back here again for sure.

Well, you are in Alabama, not Georgia, but I imagine the peaches may be just as good. Nice play with DOF.
To answer your question in the comment you left at my place today - I cheated an eenie weenie bit. The picture was taken on June 22, before the crest. But, as we both agree, the monster must be fed.
S.T.,
I hear ya. Don't blame you a bit.
Now this photo is both lovely and cruel. I speak as a peachaholic stuck in non-peach season down here at the bottom of the world!
Which are better, Alabama peaches or Georgia peaches?
Kris,
Are you kiddin' me? Come visit Birmingham and we'll show you.
That is a wonderful shot, Virginia. What's better than a bag of these in the summertime? God bless.
Mmm! Chilton County Peaches I presume?
I have strolled around and looked at your faulous photography. You make me want to take a drive around Birmingham! I have taken my kids to McWane center numerous times and you are right, they never get bored there.
And Vulcan! I would love to see a photo from the other side! He is quite audacious!
I realize that you are BIRMINGHAM Daily Photo but have you ever ventured into Montevallo? There is a park, Orr Park, that has wonderful wood carvings in the trees there. And the University of Montevallo has some lovely Architecture and Art. It might make an interesting road trip one weekend!!
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to your site!
Jennifer
Thanks Jennifer for the great suggestions. I need all I can get. Those peaches just have to be from Chilton County. I am making peach cobbler tonight!
Peaches. YUM. Nothing better than a bowl of freshly sliced peaches with just a light, light dusting of sugar to encourage their natural juices.
*Slurp*
Sorry. I think I just drooled! :-)
I really love the perspective in this photo... And peaches of course ;-)
Thank you Virginia for visiting my blog.
My husband would love to be there right now. He adores peaches.
Neat sky watch picture!!
Those are beautiful peaches. And I like the photo with the basket handles showing on top.
Mmm...I feel like eating them.
