Sunrise at Pawley's Island

This is Bill Dixon's last day as my guest photographer.  We'll end it with his favorite place on the planet, Pawley's Island, SC.  Bill has taken so many wonderful photographs that he ought to host a Pawley's Daily Photo from B'ham!!!  If you want to see more of them, click on the Bill's link and visit his beautiful website.  Thanks Bill for a great week.

Amazing light and range of colour that my beach seldom sees. I'm with V a Pawley's daily would be most welcome.

Thanks for the lovely week, Bill. And for the idea of actually standing IN the surf to take the beach picture. What a fresh perspective.

Welcome home, V!

Bill, you may be "off duty" here but you and I are ON for a photo shoot this week my friend. BTW, some more of your photos may surface later in July. I know you're thrilled I"m home, so I can be your "second wife" again! HA

Look forward to having you and Sis over very, very soon.

Bill it was fun seeing your photos this week! I especially love the Pawley's Island one, as I was lucky enough to spend 2 weeks there in the late 70s. We stayed in a big old house by the beach (I think the house has long since fallen down), and it was indeed a magical place. Thanks for jogging my memory of that fun summer!
