Come Warm Your Hands

I've had this firepit for several years. Last weekend it was just chilly enough, and it seemed a very good time to drag it out and light the fire.  We enjoyed a delightful evening.  Alabama winters are the BEST.  Oh sure we have a little snow or ice but for the most part, it's really cold, warmer, cold snap, warmer,  snow scare, warmer weather, ice storm!.. pretty good weather...... you get the idea.  And I was able to experiment with my "fire" photography!)  The next time we gather, do you think mashmallows and graham crackers are in order or........wine.....champagne...hmmmm...no brainer.

Love a fire in the fireplace. But today was so warm, including with a warm breeze, that everyone was wearing tank tops and shorts. Don't worry, it will turn cold again by the end of February.

Ah, nothing like some-mores (How do you really spell that?)and champagne! Love your fire....a real one...my daughter has an artificial one, but it's a very good one, but it just doesn't smell right....

I'd say your experiment was successful! Beautiful!

Perfect photo for this time of year, and I would vote for Champagne, cheese, baguette, and then Nutella smores for dessert!

I'll bring the bubbly and the marshmallows. May we make the s'mores with dark chocolate?

beautiful! Your work never ceases to amaze me! I am so glad you got to finally enjoy your fire pit! let us know if you need any wood for it! I can bring you some from our camping wood pile! We enjoyed the warmth of a campfire yesterday at the Locust Fork river while watching the kayak races! You will have to join us again in two weeks to take some pictures! love you-kat

May I join you ans share your fire? I'll bring the vino.

Firepit pie irons are fun for kids and kids of all ages. Simple, butter bread, spread a couple tablespoons of pie filling between the slices and put into the pie iron. In the fire it goes for a few minutes. Quick and easy blueberry or strawberry pie. Pizza is good too, or ham and cheese. Whatever the kiddies want.

Oh, we could use some of that here tonight. This is kinda similar in visual style to the series I'm starting tomorrow.

I believe the correct wine pairing with s'mores (with dark chocolate of course) would be a good rich cabernet...

lets see..... lots of people want to come join you watching the fire... if everybody came it would be great .... but just you, champagne, and Nutella smores would be divine!
