Waiting for Spring?

You know what they say, "You have a to kiss a lot of toads before......"  Well I'm sorry but everytime I see this guy perched on his lily pad at the Birmgham Botanical Gardens, I smile and think of that quote.  And by the way, I took a very nice stroll through the gardens on Wednesday, and I do believe this guy will be feeling frisky very soon! ;)

All the colors. Beautiful. And I'm rather fond of toads.

I too like toads, but haven't kissed any. Would a fake toad turn into a mannequin prince?

Hiker,
I'm not surprised!

Bibi,
HAR, I don't know. Shall I go back and give this guy a smooch and find out? :)

He may be frisky but he still won't be a prince.

This is so lovely, Virginia. I prefer frogs to toads, especially ones who turn into princes...

Yep, me too! I suppose if kissing a toad would make spring appear this afternoon, I'd do it -:)
