CDP Theme Day - Fountains

Boy the first of the month rolls around quickly. I ALMOST let this theme day get past me.  Luckily my friend Terry and I went roaming around downtown last weekend and I caught this photo of the fountain in the center of Linn Park backlit with the late afternoon sun.

As many of you know, the theme for the first day of every month is voted on by the 1000's of CDPB around the world.  You can click on the link below and see their creative interpretations of this month's theme!

Now that's what you call a fountain. I laughed at Bibi's comment and she's so right. Rather like shaggy ghosts. That's a big force of water there.

That's a lot of water. I wonder if it flows like that all the time, or just spurts.

Don't you love living in a place where the fountains can run year-round? This is lovely and glad that you and Terry were there to capture it!

Lush!

Not a word I would normally use to describe a fountain, but it was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw your photo. Fantastic back-lighting too!

Virginia I think this is the most powerful, dynamic, and possibly the best fountain photo I have seen on this theme day. JUST BRILLIANT !
