Yesterday, basically out of the blue ( the weather men had not whipped us into a pre-snow frenzy for days), we had some sleet and then a nice little snowy afternoon. Meeps got her first taste of it.
Meeps is a feline model for sure. Yes the grocery was crowded at 3PM with people stocking up on bread and milk. I picked up a blonde and a redhead being Merlot and Chardonay. ha
Oh you've landed on your feet with this little darling, Virginia. She is perfect and so adorable with snow on her little head. A lovely shot. Smart collar! That expression is to die for.
So cute. We got snow in South Alabama last February and our cat hated it ... her tail snapped all over the place signaling her disgust. :-) Good capture.

I love the color of her collar and the sprinkling of snow. She's a keeper, V!
Aww.....white on black. Bibi sometimes looks like this, too. The snow sticks to her beard....
I pluck, so I can't say that, ha.
What was the verdict? Is Meeps a snow lover or is she decidedly unimpressed by the white stuff??
No animals were covered in snow intaking this picture
She doesn't seem to happy, but the portraiit is lovely!
Cute.
As long as it isn't too cold she will probably have no problem with the snow.
Sweet little puss!
Wonderful shot! She is so cute. So, taking photos of black cats is très difficile! How do you do it? Are you using a fill flash?
Adorable.
Awww, Virginia. I bet Meeps reacting to the snow would have made a delicious video.
"Nice little snowy afternoon????"
You must have not been anywhere near I-65.

Helen,
How nice to have you stop by. Are you keeping jb in line??? As if you could! Meeps was indecisive! HA
Eeyore,
You're right, it was "nice" from my home. I hear I-65 was crazy!!!
Trelle,
Thankfully I had vin in the frig so I didn't have to elbow little old ladies out of the way to get some at the Pig!
Maya,
It was bright enough outside to do the trick. Inside she is really hard to photograph!
Lovely!
What a beautiful, beautiful cat! Love the sold black, which is a striking background for the snow. :)
Precious! Love her expression.
Is she an outdoor cat? She certainly was patient posing for you...
Daryl,
SHe's an inside cat but scooted out the door and tried to get up the tree before Eva could grab her!!!!
Katherine,
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Meeps is my first cat ever and she's very very spoiled and loved.
She she like the snow? Our cat doesn't like his feet in it. Too cold I guess.
James Span didn't give much warning on this one... very unlike him!
That Meeps is the sweetest little thing~ ready to get back inside and cozy up.
Shell illustrated one of your photos today. and I see this one in her future. Meeps is a smart cookie -- you can see the wheels turning.

How precious! I don't think Meeps quite knows if she likes it or not. But the snowflakes certainly suit her.
Soooo cute! Almost makes me want to go get a kitty - and I'm allergic!
Bon weekend, V!
And her reaction? Looks like a very stoic cat face.
So cute!!! She looks like she doesn't know what to think! A beautiful kitty!

Awww V - if she isn't the cutest little putty tat I don't know who is. LOVE the photo!
Awwwww! Hope cute is Meeps.
Tooooo cute!!! She has the same expression our two get when trying to figure out what that white stuff is and why is it so dang cold and wet???
So cute! :-)
V, feel free to use any of my photos if you really think they are worth it. :-)
Aww too cute! I did not realise you got any snow in Alabama.
