Guess Who I Met Today??? THE BOSS!!

Posted by Picasa

Well all you City Daily Photo Bloggers know who "The Boss" is! Oui, it's our revered patriarch, Eric Tenin! Eric and I met for a drink tonight, and I was thrilled to finally meet him in person.
He is just as charming as you've imagined and we had a grand time "talking blog". For all of you that emailed me with requests for his "blessings on your blog", not to worry, you're covered. He did mention something about my blog being his absolute favorite . but I'm sure he was just being polite! He was kind enough to pose next to his motorcycle so I would have proof of our rendezvous. I figured some of you out there would have some doubts. Thanks Eric for a wonderful visit and for letting me horn in on your home turf from time to time!

What a handsome portrait of the Pope of City Daily Photo blogging! He looks a little bit like Cary Grant. Is he a cab driver on the side, too? Because I swear he looks like the cabbie we had the other day from the Pantheon to our hotel and then to the Gare de Lyon.

Congratulations on meeting Eric! And great job on his photo.

Why I never thought to ask Le Roi if he schlepped (schlept??) tourist on the side!HA

Why, Virginia, I wonder how it feels to be hobnobbing with all the blog celebrities? :) It's a terrific photo! Glad that you had such a great time!

V, Oh my - who of us "non bloggers" knew there was a "Boss". I expected that you had met Bruce! Sounds like a Mother trying to pick her favorite child - bet you're ALL his favorites.

;)))) I like this shot very much thank you (and I'm generally very picky when it comes to ME being on a photo!

It was really nice meeting you Virginia. I'm sure you'll manage to come back to Paris soon ;)

Oh lord it's a man on a bike. I do like a man on a bike. Oh no it's a Frenchman. I do like a Frenchman on a bike. The Godfather photographer of our little family, a Frenchman on a bike. How the hell do I sleep now!

I did wonder where the "horn in on your" sentence was leading too. Bad girl me.

Lucky you getting to meet him! Great photo of him too. You are a master at people shots. I think the ones you took of us in Paris were the best of the bunch!

Cool shot of a very handsome fellow, V. Although he's far to democratic to accept a title like boss, I'm sure. But he IS pretty boss, as they used to say at my elementary school.
So glad you two got to meet! Still choking back laughter a bit after reading Babooshka's quip on your photo. . .ahem. . .cough, cough. Good gravy what's got into that girl!? Nice portrait of a very nice man.
