Rhonda

Back in the spring I posted quite a few photographs from the wonderful Magic City Art Connection held in downtown Birmingham at Linn Park. I was digging around in my archives last night and found this portrait. You all know I'm not Photoshop savvy, but this photograph was so blown out from the harsh noontime sun, I fiddled in Iphoto a little and here's what I got. I like it or maybe I was in Paris too long, I don't know. I think it suits Rhonda's style and her exuberant artwork! I regret I no longer have her card, so if any of my readers know her please contact me and I will post her info.

15 MINUTES OF FAME
Some of my Paris photographs are now featured on a new online magazine, Norwizzle!!
I will also be doing some photography work for them from time to time.

Now V, I must correct you. It is impossible for one to be in Paris too long! Class dismissed.

Wonderful! Tres artsy. I agree with B Squared, one cannot be in Paris long enough.
Congrats on the Norwizzle! features.

So very cool! I really like what you've done here, V.! And the 'or maybe I was in Paris too long' made me smile! :-)

Any magazine smart enough to publish you is a magazine I will definitely check out.

(Little Karin is now my personal screensaver.)

Snap,
A little razzle dazzle is good for the soul. Just ask Bob Crowe!HA

AH,
I'm flattered of course!

B2,
I know I know. I just thought maybe I'd gotten a little 'Paris Funkiness' while there. I sure hope so!

That's got a lot of pizazz! Over and under exposure can be very expressive in the right hands (and that certainly includes yours). And congratulations of the new venue for your work.

So here's the deal with Snapper's comment on my post today. His photo yesterday was very spare. He said he put it in his "haiku folder." So I wrote my comment in the form of a haiku. So he wrote his comment on my post today as a haiku. This could spiral out of control.

The sparky colours really suit. She is pure vibrance and energy. Well of course I am going to be a smug mug and say I told you so about your photography, long long time ago it was going places. Honestly I've been gobsmacked with a lot of cdp work form yourself and many others. Checked out the link and like the whole layout and getting to know you blurb. Keep up the good work. Wouldn't surprise me if the travelogues earmarked you.

Rhonda looks like a piece of art herself. Love her happy face. Congrats on your 15 minutes. I'm betting it will last much longer than that!
