Glad to see you giving a plug to the Wessons who are farming on their family farm in Fayetteville, AL! It is a beautiful place on earth----and they are the best people on earth, too! Our families are old Sylacauga friends! JReed
I love it but it isn't just melons. My favorite Sunflowers loom over them in the first photo. I love sunflowers to look at and melons to smell and eat. Yummy.
Jean, Well we need a little road trip to see them. I"ve featured their place two other times here! We'll chat about this on our walk today or tomorrow.
Karen, I can't quit snapping sunflower photos. In France, here......

j'aime la lumiére sur la deuxième photo, bravo
I like light on the second photograph, bravo
Those are beautifully melons; I can taste them all the way over here... and yes, the lighting is equally beautiful!
They look good! Let's hope they taste good too. I find it so disappointing to crack open a cantaloupe and find that it's not sweet at all.
Both shots are beautiful! Hard to choose, but the light on the 2nd is fantastic!
I love going there just to see the mounds of fruits and vegetables and flowers. Great light, I agree.
The light is divine!
Any heirloom melons around?
It is! It is! These are wonderful, Virginia.
Photography is always about the light.
Nice light here!
Have a great day!
Thérèse,
I've heard of heirloom tomatoes but not melons. I'll ask around on Saturday when I go again. I'll take some photos if we have them.

Those are so pretty (and I don't even like melons!)
you turned a pile of melons into a work of art!
Ahhh...too many jokes!!
V, my what lovely melons you have. Very fine examples.
It is all about the light with melons but the dark works well for me too!
I quite like melons as big as my head but I'm not fussy!
Its like you are the Hugh Heffner of Melons Mansion!
OH MARLEY! I am screaming. I knew you wouldn't let my melons down!!

Pepper Place and fruit of any kind are a photographer's dream. Hope to see you Saturday
