The best part about summer? Being able to pick ( or buy) a glorious bouquet of zinnias!! These are not the shrinking violets of the flower world. Nope, they are about the sassiest things around this time of year. Their hot vibrant colors just make me smile. Saturday Eva and Davis helped me pick out a bouquet for my dear, dear friend Mary Ann, who needs all our heartfelt prayers and good thoughts right now. We shared a sniff with a very friendly Dalmatian on the way out. Enjoy!
A GREAT BIG WELCOME......
to Colleen at her new Montgomery, AL Daily Photo blog. What fun to have another blog friend posting from Alabama. Check it out!

Beautiful flowers, photos and words.
I do hope your friend will feel better soon.
Our thoughts go out to her.
I love zinnias. Unfortunately, they have never "taken" to my yard. I'm sure your bouquet had plenty of cheering power.
I hope they brightened Mary Ann's day. Two great photos but you know me, I like to be awkward, I love the banner photo best! :)
beautiful colors and portraits
Both are wonderful and so is your header!
A warm and friendly post. Beautiful girl, beautiful flowers, beautiful dog!
The lovely girl is my Eva! The cute pooch remains anonymous but he was most cooperative and we all got to pet him.
Thank you all for you kind wishes for my friend.

I came over to thank you for stopping by my blog and to visit yours. And to my surprise I have a nice big welcome over here. Thank you so much!
Your pictures are BEAUTIFUL. You are so talented. I hope my pictures look like yours "when I grow up"
A sweet face on both Eva and the canine. Reminds me of a post I had of my granddaughter a year or so ago. Too lazy to look for it, however.
We're vacationing on an Island in Wisconsin but our internet signal is not always strong; however, I will post and comment as often as possible. Come visit
Your Eva is a very beautiful child.
More great photos!!!!
There's that charming girl again. I have it on good authority that zinnias make good dog snacks.
B,
I have her and her brother and the other 3 granddaughters on retainer. They work for snacks!HA
Saturday, she and Davis worked for pain au chocolat. Oh my yes!!!!!
Kate, I know how cold that water is . I know you're not swimming.

The zinnias are so pretty and Eva is even prettier! Love the doggie too - looks like a BIG version of my Annie. Keeping Mary Ann in my thoughts and prayers. Hope for a good report very soon.
