UPDATE 20h00 GMT:
Two friends, who have been giving news the whole week, have confirmed:
AMIR IS HOME NOW!

Oh JM what wonderful news. Thank you for letting us know!

You had to post a pool! We've been fooling with our damn pool for days...we were talked into a salt system a couple of years ago and now can't seem to get the salt/chlorine right and we keep pouring money (via chemicals) into the thing and it still isn't generating chlorine and I'm really ticked off and would fill it in with dirt if it didn't cost so much and if we didn't plan to sell sometime in the near future!

Nice shots, though! :-)

Re: fishing in Cedar Key...we gave up fishing some years ago and now just take pictures of boats and fisherpeople and fish if we see them!

Have a great evening!

These photos just say summer! Remember Cascade Plunge? Is it still in operation?

Fabulous news about Amir!

that's good news! Let's hope this election trouble is solved soon.

Cooling off in the pool. Some of us folks need floaties in the pool...many many floaties.

Hey I am with DL - get me LOTS of floaties.....or we could drain the pool - that would work too. Yes - I agree - ANOTHER great header photo. I've not seen even a half bad one ever.

So glad to hear the good news of Amir being home. What's wonderful! We are having many protest here at the Federal Building in Los Angeles.

Fire Light,
YES I remember Cascade Plunge. I have some very vivid memories of swimming there. ( You gotta love that long term memory thing!) and in in high school we had leadouts there as well. I'm sure it's defunct by now.

Thanks everyone. Hope you all enjoyed your dip in the pool.

How thrilling it is to know our Amir is back home safely. I can't begin to imagine what he has been through. Frightening. JM thanks for keeping us all in the loop!
