Birmingham's
Cordray Parker created this beautifiul angel. It sits on the rooftop of
St. Mary's on the Highlands Episcopal Church. I've held onto it for a really long time. I think I need to go at another time of day and try to capture a better image. We'll see.

An angel on the church roof!
"Fear not" is how angels always greeted Bible people, no?
Quite a fantastic angel! A lovely church detail for Sacred Sunday!
Ya, I'd love to see more detail in her.
Bird, I agree. I need to go back when the light is different. Very hard to shoot because of the light and you are shooting up at her.

Dina,
Yes, you are right!
Leif,
Parker's scuptures are amazing.
Bring us more. It is a great looking Angel. Thank you Virginia.
Looks suspiciously like an escapee from the allegorical mob in Mayence

paree or NYC?
Complex! Get the light around on the other side - would love to see the details.
This reminds me so much of a life size sculpture I saw on a railing by the Danube in Budapest. Both are beautiful.
