The Robert Jemison Trail

* My friend Jean Reed is sitting in as my guest blogger this week while I'm in France. She introduced me to the Robert Jemison Trail and we have logged a lot of miles together here.

The Robert Jemison Trail is enjoyed by hundreds of walkers and runners on a daily basis. It is such a beautiful spot that one can get lost in the beauty of the babbling brook and the surrounding natural landscape and forget the pain of exercise and heart rate! It is great for one’s mental outlook and attitude to reap the multisensory advantages of spending time in the natural world! Once its summer, just don’t forget to watch out for snakes!!!!

Jean, Beautiful spot! Makes me feel relaxed just to see your photo. What kind of snakes do you have to watch for?

Hello Jean,

The depth of that reflection is fabulous and I'm with Tom on the my kind of peace and quiet. Yep! V's handed the reins to another hot photographer.

Eki,
Virginia and I have trotted many a mile on this trail. We have been on alert though after seeing a snake! IT just makes one all the more observant!!!

Judy,
I personally watch out for any snake---but the ones that we most DO NOT want to see are Copperheads---and they are particularly plentiful here!

Tom and Babooshka,
Thanks for your comments. Yes this is a beautiful spot. The surrounding beauty has thankfully been preserved!

Babooshka,
I lived in Vancouver as a child and the word babooshka was what we used in reference to a head covering or scarf! I assume it is a Russian word with multiple meanings!
