about coffee. I don't speak "Starbucks" so when I visit my favorite neighborhood coffee shop, Forest Perk, I just say I want a medium coffee and they figure out the rest. It's always good...a whole lot better than what I make at home.
I grind beans most of the time. I use a local brand and sometimes 'roast' it again in a little pan. As for Starbucks, their coffee is good, but I don't like their commercial greediness....they're ALL OVER! But not here yet....
It looks like they use very dark roasted beans. Do you try the espresso? Actually, we buy our coffee at Starbucks and, although we use a drip pot, make it strong enough to curl your toes. That's how to start the day.

I like this big grinder....
This photograph smells divine. Who knew you could do that with pixels?

I got spoiled with Seattle's Best when we were in the northwest. Now they have it here! Hooray! Hooray!

This photo makes my mouth water. I missed my afternoon cup today.
I love the little independent coffee places...especially if they roast their own beans!!! Far superior to Starbucks, any day!!!
