I too am fascinated by silhouettes or at least back-lit 'factories' and the like. This is very good!

Cloudia is right on. I love visiting the technology of the past with my photography. It's like I'm trying to preserve something with a medium whose sole purpose is to preserve the what the eye sees.

This is a gorgeous capture, V. I don't understand why old factories, old equipment, old buildings are so appealing as subjects but they are and this is an example of how artfully they can be composed.

Your picture made me think about B. & H. Becher. I just read about their work yesterday...

Very nice eye, Virginia! It's perfection...and the light on the right sets everything in a proper context!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Is this a toe dip into the monochrome sphere? Love it, V, it's so dramatic.
